With measuring ranges of 0.3 to 75 l/min or 0.05 to 10.5 l/min, they are suitable for dynamics of 1:250 with flow rates large and small. Since ultrasonic technology based on the TDOA method works without moving parts, the flowmeters are insensitive to contamination – making them virtually maintenance-free. A temperature sensor is already integrated, and the modular design allows the ultrasonic flowmeters to be mounted quickly and easily, in vertical as well as horizontal pipelines.
Brass or stainless-steel fitting
The ultrasonic flowmeters consist of an electronic module, a measuring element and a brass or stainless-steel fitting for connection to the pipeline. In the cartridge variant, the measuring module is simple to remove from the fitting if required. This streamlines the assembly process in many cases and allows the measuring element to be cleaned. However, the measuring element can also be welded in block solutions without a fitting. On request, Bürkert combines the ultrasonic flowmeter to create application-specific complete systems. The company also validates and certifies the respective requirements. This means that reliable, flexible flowmeters with a wide measuring range are available for all types of temperature-control processes.
